Property upgrades & refurbishments

We first met Josh back in September 2023 when we were seeking quotes for a single storey kitchen extension We found Josh to be very friendly and knowledgeable, and we immediatly got the impression he was honest and trustworthy, and we were not wrong! Josh's quotes were very detailed, giving a clear breakdown of all the work and its associated costs, and right from the start we knew exactly what we were getting for our money.
One the day work started we were appointed a Project Manager who was very friendly and
helpful. A WhatsApp page was setup which proved to be very useful for the times when it was not possible to talk face to face. We always received friendly, helpful and quick responses to our many requests and questions.
As the build progressed we quickly realised that we were deaing with a very professional team. All of the work was carried out to a very high standard, and we were constantly amazed at how hard the team worked.
Having been very impressed with the standard of work on the extension, we expanded the scope to include a kitchen installation, new patio and numerous other improvements, all of which were carried out to the same high standard of workmanship and professionalism.
We are still amazed at the transformation to our house, and we are very grateful to Josh and his team for helping us achieve such a great result. We certainly would highly recommend Josh to anyone considering any type of building work.

Josh and team completed a large kitchen / dining room conversion project for us. Work was completed perfectly, on time, on budget and Josh remained on call for any minor snagging for months after having finished - not that there were many things but he made sure everything was working as expected and as it should be. We are thrilled with our new space. Josh was brilliant from start to finish. He gave us so much time at tender and was very patient with all our questions.

The whole team were a pleasure to have around. Building projects are not an easy process but they all worked around us and our dog with respect. It was really appreciated.

We hit a few obstacles but the team are problem solvers rather than problem makers. They helped us work through any issues we faced.

Whole House Renovation

Josh and his team renovated our whole house starting January 2024. We found his whole team to be reliable and highly professional. The initial quote was so detailed right down to the last screw! so we knew exactly what to expect from a money perspective. We wanted to be true to the period of the property and Josh and Ayden's attention to detail was excellent. The whole team were incredibly reliable, always turned up when they said they would and worked really hard throughout the days. The team on site were very respectful that we were living there throughout the build and were quiet and well mannered (which is important with children on site). They had the greatest respect for the neighbours as well, always making sure they knew what was going on and addressing any of their concerns. The trades that Josh works with are also highly qualified and a pleasure to work with.

Overally, we would highly recommend Josh and his team.

It’s been a pleasure working with Josh and his team. They’ve been creative, hard working, top craftsmen, patient, polite, discreet, tidy, and made our vision come true. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. And we hope to have another project ourselves with this excellent, talented team of people.

Josh and his team did a fantastic job for us throughout a six month project, including an extension and internal re-modelling of our house. They were always available, always responsive and had a team to call upon for all aspects of the project, as well as ensuring as limited disruption for us and our kids. Would recommend JLC to anyone.
